Staff Reporter :
Four gangsters from Chanpara near Demra and Rupganj are under the surveillance of detectives in connection with the murder of BUET student Fardin Noor Parash (24).
Detectives believe that a drug empress might be involved with Fardin’s murder along with these four gangsters. Law enforcement forces are on a continuous operation to arrest them.
The four gangsters and drug lords are identified as Raihan, Noor Jamal, Malta Rony, Mujahid and Manu.
Meanwhile, DB chief DIG Haron ur Rashid said in a press conference on Saturday that no concrete information has been received yet regarding Fardin’s murder. Nothing can be confirmed right now.
However, Fardin might have been killed somewhere in Dhaka city. For the sake of the investigation, I cannot say everything at the moment.
Meanwhile, Fardin’s younger brother, Abdullah bin Noor Tajim, said that Fardin’s involvement with drugs is far-fetched, he has never smoked a cigarette. Let the police investigate why Fardin went to Chanpara. Someone can even kidnap him. It is to be noted that the body of Fardin was recovered from the back side of Lakshminarayan Cotton Mills adjacent to Banani Ghat in Siddhirganj on the evening of November 7, three days after the disappearance.
Before this, he went missing on the night of November 4 from city’s Rampura.
