17 unusual deaths in Sylhet in five days

Abnormal deaths have increased at an alarming rate in Sylhet Division. In the last 5 days, 17 unusual deaths including 5 murders took place.
Not only these, recently such incidents are happening frequently in Sylhet. Suddenly fights, rapes, murders and suicides have increased in Sylhet. This has created panic among people everywhere.
Social analysts say that family violence and unrest have recently increased in Sylhet due to many reasons, including marital discord, torture, immoral relationships during the Corona period. Above all, there is no problem of religious discipline in the society – that is why such incidents are happening frequently in Sylhet, according to experts and religious leaders.
Based on the news published in the media, it is known that 5 people were killed in different upazilas of the four districts of the division from 2nd to 6th of this November. Three people died in road accident. three people died after being hit by a train. The hanging bodies of three persons were recovered. 1 person committed suicide. one person died after falling from a tree, and 1 person died under mysterious circumstances.
Among them, Sylhet district has the highest number of 9 unusual deaths including two murders. Four people died including two murders in Habiganj district. Three people died in Moulvibazar district including one murder. A schoolgirl died of poisoning in Sunamganj.
The police recovered the bodies of a couple named Ripon and Shipa hanging from a room of house No. C-25 of Pallabi residential area of Patantula on Sunday around 11 am. A note was also recovered from the house.
The deceased are Ripon Talukdar son of Rukuni Talukdar of Rajabaz village under Fenerbagh Union of Jamalganj Upazila of Sunamganj district and Shipa Das is daughter of Panar Das of the same village.
The police recovered the body of an unidentified youth from the bank of Surma river behind the Sylhet divisional passport office around 8:30 am on Sunday. Moglabazar police recovered the body. The police are working to find out the identity of the body. Police said the age of the deceased youth is approximately 35 years.
BNP leader AF Kamal was stabbed to death in Sylhet city on Sunday night. It is said that his car was intercepted and killed. The incident took place at Amberkhana Barabazar in the city around 8:30 that night. A young man named Masum Ahmad was killed by an opponent during a football game in Kanighat upazila of Sylhet on Saturday.
On that evening, the incident took place near the Chatul Bazar Darbast CNG station of Barchatul Union of the upazila. The deceased youth is the son of Abdul Khalik of Chhatarkhai village of Pashwaarti Jaintapur upazila.
Jokiganj Upazila Chhatra League leader Sayan Habib Jewel (24), who was injured in a road accident on Saturday night, died in a hospital in Dhaka. Younger son of late Abdur Rahim member of Veerashree Union.
On October 27, Sayan Habib Jewel was involved in a motorcycle accident with a battery- operated rickshaw at Eidgah Bazar on the Sheola-Jakiganj road. After that, he was treated at a hospital in Sylhet and when his physical condition worsened, his family members took him to a hospital in Dhaka Green Road for better treatment. He died at around 10 pm on Saturday after a 10-day fight with death.
A young man named Delwar Hossain (37) was killed while cutting trees in Sylhet of Biyanibazar on Friday afternoon. The accident took place in Barigram of Lauta Union of the upazila. A young man named Mamunur Rashid Mamun (18) was killed in a road accident in Sylhet of Jaintapur Upazila at 3:30 pm on Friday. The accident took place in front of Salirpool (no. 10 gas coupe) on the Sylhet-Tamabil highway of the upazila. Deceased Mamun Jaintapur upazila Hemumazhpara village son of deceased Tajjmul Ali.
