Taskin can bag three wickets in every match in IPL: Aakash Chopra

Cricket critics and commentator Aakash Chopra said, “Taskin Ahmed can bag three wickets in every match in Indian Premier League (IPL). Taskin is an outstanding pacer. He has superb pace in his bowling. In the last edition of IPL, Luknow Super Giants wanted to include Taskin, but Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) didn’t give No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Taskin. If he gets NOC this time, he will be a formidable pacer. Because he used to bowl extremely well in new ball and makes combination with wicketkeeper. He is not only a good bowler in the grounds of Australia but also he can get respect in any pitch.”
Taskin Ahmed is the best performer in this T20 World Cup. Though Bangladesh failed to reach the semi-finals but Taskin Ahmed showed a superb display. Taskin captured eight wickets in five matches with a superb economy of 7.27. Everybody convinced after watching his superb performance.
Bangladesh registered two victories in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022. He captured three wickets in Brisbane against Zimbabwe. Bangladesh won against Zimbabwe scoring 150. Taskin Ahmed was adjudged the Man of the Match in that match.
Taskin claimed three wickets against Netherlands. His pace and outswing in new ball was the cause of trouble for the batters of Netherlands. He was adjudged the Man of the Match in that match for his superb performance.
Taskin used to bowl superbly in new ball and can make problem for the batters but he can feel problem by the batters in death overs.
So, Captain of T20 Bangladesh Cricket team Shakib Al Hasan used him during the ‘Powerplay’ and mid of the innings.
Aakash also said, ” Taskin is expensive in the death overs. But if he will use during the ‘Powerplay’ and mid of the innings, he will get three wickets in every match of IPL.”
In the last season of IPL, Lucknow Super Giants was interested to included Taskin Ahmed instead of English pacer Mark Wood. But Taskin could not get NOC as Taskin was busy in the international matches for Bangladesh.
