Independence Cup Football begins Nov 5

The Independence Cup Football will begin on November 5. The two qualification matches will be held at November 5 and November 6. Little Friends Club will face Bangladesh Air Force at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj on November 5, while Bangladesh Army will meet Bangladesh Navy at Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj on November 6.
The draw ceremony of Independence Cup Football was held in the conference room of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) House on Monday.
The 11 teams of Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football and three teams from Bangladesh Champions League will directly play in the final phase. The three teams are: Uttara Football Club, Youngmens Club Fakirerpool and Elite Academy of BFF.
The winners of the two qualification matches will get the tickets of the Independence Cup Football.
Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra, Fortis Football Club and the winners of Bangladesh Army and Bangladesh Navy match are in Group-A, while Bashundhara Kings, Chittagong Abahani Limited, Ajampur Football Club and Youngmens Club Fakirerpool are in Group-B, while Dhaka Abahani Limited, Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, Uttara Football Club and the winners of the match of Little Friends Club and Bangladesh Air Force are in Group-C, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited, Bangladesh Police Football Club, Rahmatganj MFS, Elite Academy of BFF are in Group-D.
