Five years old girl violated in Morrelganj

A mother registered a case with Morrelganj PS recently as the plaintiff against 2 youths named Nabin Shaikh (19) and Najmul Shaikh (15) of village Baraikhali under Morrelganj Upazila in Bagerhat district on the charge of committing gang rape with her 5 years old daughter, recorded the scene in video and made it viral through social media. The case was filed under Anti Women and Children Repression Act and Anti Pornography Act, according to a delayed report received here. The case Number is 11 dated October 19, 2022.
According to the case, it is stated that on October 05 Nabin Shaik and Najmul Shaikh called their neighbouring the victim girl (daughter of a poor parents) and took her to the nearby Steel Bridge very tactfully where they committed gang rape with her forcibly. After a long 8 days when it became viral through internet the mother of the victim girl registered the case with the local PS.
 Md. Sayeedur Rahman, Officer-in-charge of Morrelganj PS told, Njmul Shaikh, the accused number 2 (two) was arrested and sent to the jail hajat through the court on Thursday. The victim girl was also sent to Bagerhat Sadar Hospital for medical examination on the same day. The Officer added, police are trying their best to arrest Nabin Shaikh, the accused number 1 (one) of the case.
