One held with Yabas in Sylhet

Sylhet Bureau :
Police arrested one person with 520 pieces of Yaba in Golapganj Upazila of Sylhet.
According to the district police, under the direction of Superintendent of Police Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, under the supervision of Additional Superintendent of Police of Golapganj Circle Paritran Talukdar, under the leadership of Golapganj Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Rafiqul Islam, a team of police arrested Alam Hossain in Dattarail Mishrapara village of Upazila at around 5 am on Sunday as part of an anti-narcotics operation.
At that time, Alam Hossain’s residence was searched and 520 pieces of Yaba were recovered and he was arrested.
Alam Hossain is the son of deceased Atlab Ali of Dattarail Mishrapara village of Dhaka South Union of Upazila. A case against him under Narcotics Control Act is under process at Golapganj Model Police Station.
