Bangladesh T20 Cricket team in Sydney

Bangladesh Cricket team have started their ICC T20 World Cup campaign. They beat Netherlands by nine runs in their first match of the Group-2 of the ‘Super Twelve’ phase of the T20 World Cup in Hobart on October 24. After that match, Bangladesh T20 Cricket team reached Sydney on Tuesday to play their second Group-2 match against South Africa. Bangladesh will take on South Africa at Sydney Cricket Ground in Sydney tomorrow. The match will start at 9.00am (Bangladesh Standard Time). Members of Bangladesh Cricket team took rest on Tuesday. They are now staying at Hyatt Regency Sydney Hotel.
Meanwhile, South Africa shared points with Zimbabwe in their first Group-2 match at Hobart on October 24 as their match was abandoned due to heavy rain. Unfortunate South Africa were on the brink of victory but the match was abandoned due to heavy downpour.
Bangladesh scored a fighting total against Netherlands but the pacers of Bangladesh played the key role to earn the much-awaited victory. Right-arm prolific pacer Taskin Ahmed captured four wickets in the space of 25 runs, while promising right-arm pacer Hasan Mahmud grabbed two wickets at the cost of 15 runs.
