Killer fled after murdering youth in Muladi

A killer fled to Singapore after murdering his cousin Nurul Amin, 37, for collecting ransom after called to the house of his father in-law.
This killing was happened in Boalia village of Muladi upazila under Barishal district and police arrested suspected accused Khorshed Alam, father-in-law of the killer.
The arrestee gave a confessional statement in the court under section 164 stating that his son-in-law was involved in this murder.
SI Prabir Mitra In-charge of Nazirpur police camp under Muladi Upazila said that on October 12, we recovered unidentified legs and hands tied dead body from the Arial Kha River in Muladi.
As it was seemed to be an incident of murder, a murder case was lodged accusing unknown accused.
Later, after seeing the picture of the dead body, Al Amin of Lakshinagar village of Fatulla police station of Narayanganj district identified the dead body as his missing brother Nurul Amin (32).

According to Al Amin’s information, Nurul Amin was missing from Octobor 10 after going to the house of cousin Kamrul Islam’s father -in law at Muladi.
Sonia Akther, sister of Nurul Amin, made a general diary with Fatulla police station regarding this disappearance on October 14.
After that police arrested Khorshed Alam, father-in-law of Kamrul on October 18 and the arrestee gave a confessional statement before the court.
In that statement at the judicial magistrate court at Barishal he confessed his son-in-law Kamrul Islam was involved in the murder, SI Prabir said.
In confessional statement, Khorshed Alam mentioned that on the morning of October 10, his son-in-law came home and left the house after killing the victim.
According to the police, it is initially believed that victim Nurul Amin was killed by suffocation and thrown into the river tying his hands and legs, police sources said.
In this case, the process of recovery of the evidence used during the murder is going and other accused involving in this murder will be arrested as soon as possible.
The deceased’s sister Sonia told Nurul Amin and Kamrul Hasan are cousins with close relationship and lived in the same area of Narayanganj and both were Singapore expatriate for log time.
But since past few years Kamrul returning home has been staying at his father in laws house and received Tk 15 lakh from an insurance claim of Nurul Amin two years ago as loan. Apart from this, Kamrul took another 50 lakh taka from Nurul Amin to send five people to Europe.
Nurul Amin repeatedly pressured Kamrul to return the money and went to Kamrul’s in-laws house at Muladi several times, but failed to get the money back.
