GSP Finance’s profit plunges 70pc in April-June

GSP Finance Company (Bangladesh) Limited’s profit plunged 70 per cent year-on-year to Tk 1.66 crore in the April-June quarter of 2022.
It made a profit of Tk 5.46 crore during the same quarter last year.
Consolidated earnings per share of the non-bank financial institution fell to Tk 0.14 in the April-June quarter of 2022, which was Tk 0.46 during the same period of 2021, according to the unaudited financial statements. Its profit declined 44 per cent to Tk 5.34 crore in the January-June half of 2022 against Tk 9.61 crore during the same half of 2021.
It reported consolidated EPS of Tk 0.45 for January-June of 2022 against Tk 0.81 in the same half of 2021.
The NBFI’s consolidated net operating cash flow per share was Tk 0.21 in negative in January-June, which was Tk 0.81 in the identical half of 2021.
Consolidated net asset value per share was Tk 21.80 on June 30 this year and Tk 21.35 on December 31 last year.
