Drug dealer arrested in Gazipur

Gazipur District Detective Police (DB) arrested a drug dealer named Asadul Islam (27) along with 700 pieces of Yaba tablets in Gazipur Sadar Upazila.
 He was arrested on Thursday from Rakshitpara Sahebbari area of Bhawalgarh Union.
 The arrested drug dealer Asadul Islam is the son of Mohleshur Rahman of Bhawanipur Nayapara village of Bhawalgarh Union of Sadar Upazila.
 Gazipur District Detective Police (DB) According to SI Rakibul Islam, under the direction of Gazipur Superintendent of Police Kazi Shafiqul Alam BPM, a team of DB Police during a drug and weapons recovery operation while staying at Bhabanipur Bazar under Joydevpur police station, got information from secret sources that drug dealers were in front of Abul Khair’s group in Rakshitpara Sahibbari area.
 Later, a team of DB Police raided the area with the help of Joydevpur Thana Police and arrested Asadul Islam along with 700 pieces of Yaba tablets. During interrogation, he said that Firoz Khan (35), a drug dealer of Teknaf in Cox’s Bazar, brought Yaba tablets and sold them wholesale in Joydevpur area.
 In this incident, the DB Police filed a case under the Narcotics Act at Joydevpur police station as the plaintiff.
