Youth held for giving proxy in exam in Pirojpur

While taking the exam as a proxy candidate for the appointment of union social workers under Social Services Department in Pirojpur district on Friday.
A youth named Zubair Hossain was arrested from Pirojpur PTI center during the examination on Friday.
Arrested Zubair was son of Arshed Ali from Nazirhat Mollapara area of Gurdaspur upazila under Natore district. PTI (Primary Teacher Training Center) center superintendent Mullah Farid Ahmed confirmed the report.
PTI Superintendent Molla Farid Ahmed told that 133 out of 450 candidates participated in recruitment exam at our center. Among them, a proxy examinee has been expelled.
Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Maryam Jahan has identified the proxy candidate as a fake candidate after looking at the handwriting and various aspects. We didn’t understand at first that he was giving another person’s test, but when we realized that he was expelled and handed over to the police station.
UNO Maryam Jahan said, based on the information of NSI, I was investigating all the candidates as a magistrate in a room of PTI center. Then we nab a proxy examinee and handed over him to the police. Hall Super filed a case against him.
