Youth killed in Gafargaon road accident

A young man was killed in a road accident at Khurshid Mahal Bridge of Panchbhag Union in Gafargaon around 3 pm on Thursday .
Deceased was Rafiqul Islam,18,son of Sirajul of Dhankura village of
Hossainpur upazila. Local said that Rafiqul Islam and Enamul were seriously injured in a collision with a truck carrying sand coming from the opposite direction at Khurshid Mahal Bridge on their way from Gafargaon to Hossainpur. The local people rescued the injured and took them to the Hossainpur Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared Rafiqul dead. And the other rider Enamul,16, of Thadarkanda village of Hossainpur Upazila was sent to Dhaka for better treatment. Pagla police station OC Rasheduzzaman confirmed the incident.
