Hygienic sanitisation stressed to lead disease-free life

Officials and experts at a function have stressed ensuring hygienic sanitization and maintaining cleanliness to lead a healthier life free from waterborne and other diseases.
The District Administration with Department of Public Health Engineering (DPHE) jointly organized the campaign function followed by a discussion on Saturday in observance of the National Sanitation Month October and World Hand Washing .
 DC Md. Asif Ahasan launched the sanitation month and hand-washing campaign for school students in the function held at Gangachara Government College ground in Gangachara upazila town.
District and upazila level government officials and employees, students from different educational institutions, representatives of NGOs, civil society members and local elite participated in the programmes.
Sr. Staff Reporter, Kishoreganj adds: The National Sanitation Month October and Hand Washing Day to create mass awareness and improve senitation system in the country. In Kishoreganj, Public Health Engineering Department (PHE) including District Administration arranged a colour full rally discussion , handwaving, and postering marking the national month october -’22 and global hand-washing day on Saturday.
The programme’s was chief guest Deputy Commissioner (DCl in Kishoreganj Mohammad Shamim Alam, Police Super Mohammad Rasel Sheikh PPM (Bar), District Awami League( AL) general secretary advocate M. A Afzol , ADC (General) Golam Mostafa were special guest, while . DPHE’s in Kishoreganj Executiv Engineer Mahabubur Rahman in the chair.
