Ethical values at decay :
Today we are living in a society wherein materialistic things are touching the pinnacle of the sky, with the standard of living rising too, but simultaneously the standard of living is eroding at its full strength. For a stable, vibrant and sound society, moral values are the driving force and invaluable human assets, their absence in society renders it barren like a land without plants and trees.
To conclude, it is the moral and social duty of parents to inculcate ethical values in their children to help evade their moral decay. For school teachers, it’s also their job to teach children moral precepts, and social standards so that they could come out of the barren landscape of gloomy thoroughfare.

Take action against rape
The horror of rape is increasing in Bangladesh. Where is our country going? Where is this society going? After every rape incident, there was a momentary outcry from the public. Voices are raised, protests take place and then it loses momentum. But there is no justice.
It is hoped that the government will take action against rape and implement law strictly by imposing harsh punishments to the accused. It is time to ensure security for women. Let’s build a strong protest against rape. Then peace and order will return to the society and thus, an enlightened society can be formed.
