Child drowns in Sylhet

Sylhet Bureau :
A minor child was drowned in a pond at Osmaninagar upazila in Sylhet on Thursday afternoon.
The dead was Tawhid Ahmad, 2, son of Abul Kalam, a resident of of Bhagalpur village under Goalabazar union.
According to local sources, the child drowned in a pond next to the house while playing near its bank.
Later, he was rescued and taken to hospital where he was declared dead.
