12 Injured in Tangail road accident

At least 12 passengers were injured in a head-on collision between two buses at Ghatail upazila in Tangail on Tuesday morning.
Police and locals said that two passenger buses coming from opposite direction rammed in a head-on collision in Moghalpara area leaving 12 passengers of both buses severally injured. After the incident, locals and police rescued the injured and admitted them to Ghatail Upazila Health Complex and local clinics. Among the injured, 3 people in a very critical state, they may be referred to Dhaka if their physical condition deteriorate, said the duty doctor of the hospital. Later on, the personnel of fire service and police evacuated the two buses from the road to avoid traffic congestion.
Confirming the incident, Abdul Haque, Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) of Ghatail Police Station said that 12 passengers were injured in a head-on collision between two buses on Tuesday morning. They are being treated in different hospitals.
