Stolen copper coil recovered

Copper coil (cable) stolen from the construction yard of Bangladesh-India-Friendship Power Plant at Rampal under Rampal Upazila in Bagerhat district at the night of Friday was recovered from Tama Bridge area under the Upazila on Monday afternoon (at about 5 pm) by a smart contingent of RAB-6, Khulna and arrested three (3) thieves including their ring leader Md. Moniruzzaman alias Kamal Shaikh of Maniknagar village under Rampal Upazila. The other arrested thieves are Md. Farid Shaikh and Al-Amin Shaikh of Adaghat area under the same Upazila.
It is learnt from a source of RAB-6, Khulna that the Operation Manager of Jerin Security Service Ltd. working in the power plant informed the Commander of RAB-6 of the matter. On the basis of the information the RAB-6 contingent raided the different places and at last they arrested three thieves along with the stolen copper coil from Tama Bridge area (under Rampal Upazila).
It may be mentioned here that only a few days ago a contingent of RAB-6, Khulna recovered iron pipes weighing 1,120 kgs stolen from the power plant were recovered from Batiaghata area in Khulna district.
On the same day the members of Ansar Battalion working in the power plant recovered 29 GI pipes worth Taka more than 2 Lakh from a bushy land out side of the power plant area.
 Those pipes were stolen from the construction yard of the power plant.
