Swiss citizen Fadi Bitar, Managing Director of Rakeen Development Bangladesh Limited (a Switzerland-Bangladesh joint-venture developer company), speaking at a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) in capital on Wednesday alleged that S A K Ekramuzzaman, former managing director has occupied the company violating the rules and siphoned Tk 184 crore to Dubai in UAE. As a foreign investor Bitar sought the Prime Minister’s interference to get protection from Ekramuzzaman’s terrorist attack. Sumiya Tasneem, DMD and other officials of the company were also present.
