Sanat Babla elected EC member of AIPS Asia

Bangladesh Sports Press Association (BSPA) president Sanat Babla has been elected as an Executive Committee (EC) member of the Asian Association of International Sports Press Association (AIPS).
South Korea’s Hee Dong Jung became the new president of Asia in the continental elections held in Rome, the capital of Italy on Tuesday. Pakistan’s Amjad Malik became the general secretary for the third consecutive time. Sanat Babla of Bangladesh came second among 15 contestants for the eight member positions of the executive committee. The other nominees are Hiroki Shoda (Japan), Safwan Abu Shanab (Palestine), Ahmed Saif Al Kabbi (Oman), Nim Seong Fong (Macau), Helen Chi (Chinese Taipei), Abdul Salam Hamoud Ali Saud (Yemen) and Ilyas Omarov (Kazakhstan).
