Mother, her two sons were killed as they saw the theft incidents

Police have uncovered the mystery of the murder of a mother and her two sons in Sirajganj’s Belkuchi. Step-uncle Ayub Ali killed niece Roshan Ara and her two children by hitting her on the chest with a sea shell and strangling her.
Sirajganj Superintendent of Police (SP) Arifur Rahman Mondal said this in a press conference on Monday (October 3).
SP Arifur Rahman said, Ayub Ali and the deceased Roshan Ara are relatives each other. Ayub is a weaver by profession. He was depressed due to the NGO’s debt burden since ling.
On the evening of September 28, he went to his niece Roshan Ara’s house to ask for money. But when Roshan Ara refused to pay, he decided to steal. At night when everyone sleeps, Ayub starts stealing.
At one point Roshan Ara wakes up.
Then he killed his niece Roshan Ara by hitting his chest with a hammer and strangling his throat. When children Jihad (10) and Mahin (3) woke up, Ayub killed them too. He also said that after the murder, he went to his own home Ullapara Upazila after closing the door of the house from outside.
In this incident, the deceased’s elder brother Nuruzzaman Akand filed a case on Saturday morning. Later that night, the accused was arrested. It is to be noted that last Saturday, the police recovered the half-melted bodies of a mother and two sons from an empty house in Mabupur Nahunpara village of Dhukuria Bara Union of Belkuchi Upazila of the district.
