19 RU JCD activists held

Rajshahi Correspondent :Police arrested 19 leaders and activists of Rajshahi University Unit Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal [JCD] apprehending subversive activities by conducting a raid near the varsity campus on Sunday night. Of the arrestees, there were President Imtiaz Ahmed and General Secretary Quamrul Hasan of JCD RU unit.Police arrested them when they were attending a meeting at Mirzapore School, adjacent to RU campus.All of the arrestees were taken to the police station. No case was filed till the time of writing of this report at 10:30 pm yesterday.
