Jahurul keeps Rupganj on top in DPDCL

A match-winning knock by Jahurul Islam saw Legends of Rupganj to maintain the top slot in the points table of the Walton Dhaka Premier Division Cricket League (DPDCL) with an emphatic seven wickets victory over Victoria Sporting Club in their fifth round match held on Monday at the Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Prothisthan Ground no 3 in Savar.
Favored by coin, Victoria Sporting Club managed to score a small total of 191 for 8 from their stipulated 50 overs in the face of tight bowling attacks by the Legends of Rupganj bowlers.
In reply, Rupganj reached home in 46.1 overs for the loss of three wickets.
Jahurul Islam of Rupganj was named the player of the match for his brilliant batting performance on the day.
