Youth held with 3 kgs hem

Kotwali thana police of CMP rounded up one youth from station road area in city alongwith 3 kgs of hem on Saturday evening .
The detained youth was identified as Md. Ibrahim (19) .
Inspector of Kotwali thana Md. Nizamuddin told that Md. Ibrahim was rounded up after checking his hand bag where these contraband drug herbal was hidened. The approximate cost of these hem is about Tk.20 thousand , sources said. After confession of the detained said he brought these hem from Comilla border area aimed at selling in Chittagong. A case under Narcotics act has been lodged with the concerned police, sources said.
