BSPST gets new executive committee

The ‘Bangladesh Society of Plant Science and Technology (BSPST),a professional society in the subject of broad field of Plant Science & Technology announced a 21-members new executive committee on 1 May 2022 .
Dr. Md. Solaiman Ali Fakir, Professor, Department of Crop Botany, Bangladesh Agricultural University, and Dr. Md. Abdul Baset Mia, Professor, Department of Crop Botany, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University were selected as President and General Secretary of BSPST, respectively, for two years tenure. The other office bearers are as follows. Prof. Dr. A. F. M. Saiful Islam, Department of Crop Botany and Tea Production Technology, Sylhet Agricultural University and Dr. Md. Amzad Hossain, Director General, Bangladesh Sugarcrop Research Institute (BSRI), Ishwardi, Pabna Vice President, Prof. Dr. Sripati Shikder, Department of Crop Physiology and Ecology , Hajee Mohammad Danesh Science and Technology University (HSTU) & Dr. Md. Masudur Rahman, Department of Crop Botany and Tea Production Technology, Sylhet Agricultural University (SyAU) as Joint Secretary, Haider Iqbal Khan, Department of Crop Botany, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University (BSMRAU) as Treasurer, Prof. Dr. Md. Mahbub Islam, Department of Agricultural Botany, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (SAU) as Publication Secretary, Prof. Dr. Abu KhairMuktadir Chowdhury, Department of Crop Physiology and Ecology, HSTU as Joint Publication Secretary, Prof. Dr. KamrunNahar, Department of Agricultural Botany, SAU as Seminar and Cultural Secretary and other 11 executive members were selected.
