Digital centre entrepreneurs in remote areas provided higher training

A total of 293 entrepreneurs of digital centres in remote areas were given higher training to boost their income.
The five-day long training ended on Thursday at the Information and Communication Technology Division where certificates were given to the participants. Sushanta Kumar Saha, Project Director of Empowering Rural Communities-Reaching the Unreached, handed over the certificates.
Speaking on the occasion, Sushanta said they have organized the training programme for the entrepreneurs so that they could boost their earning through diversified opportunity of outsourcing.
The entrepreneurs were given training on graphics design and web development at Bangladesh Computer Council Lab.
The government has installed a total of 4,547 digital centers across the country, of which 200 centers are situated in remote areas.
A total of 293 entrepreneurs, out of 400 entrepreneurs of the 200 centers of remote areas, were given training in the first phase.
