Bangladesh Cricket (ODI) team will leave the city for South Africa (SA) today to take part in the upcoming three-match ODI series against the Proteas. The cricketers of Bangladesh ODI team will leave the city splitting into two parts. The cricketers of Bangladesh Test team will leave the city tomorrow. The cricketers of Bangladesh ODI team will fly for Johannesburg by Qatar Airlines. Some members of Bangladesh Cricket team took part in the optional practice session at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Thursday.
Bangladesh ODI team will play three One Day International (ODI) matches against South Africa. Bangladesh will take on South Africa in the first ODI on March 18, the Tigers will face the Proteas in the second ODI on March 20, Bangladesh will meet South Africa in the third ODI on March 23. Bangladesh and South Africa will play three ODI matches as part of ICC ODI World Cup Super League. Bangladesh grabbed 100 points playing 15 matches, while South Africa earned 39 points from 10 matches.
The first Test match between Bangladesh and South Africa will be held from March 31 to April 4, while the second Test match will take place from April 8 to April 12.
Bangladesh ODI team will reach South Africa tomorrow. After one-day break, the Tigers will start their training session. They will play a warm-up match before taking part in the first ODI against South Africa.

South Africa ODI squad: Temba Bavuma (Captain), Keshav Maharaj (Vice-Captain), Quinton de Kock (Wicketkeeper), Zubayr Hamza, Marco Jansen, Janneman Malan, Aiden Markram, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Wayne Parnell, Andile Phehlukwayo, Dwaine Pretorius, Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi, Rassie van der Dussen and Kyle Verreynne.
