‘United efforts a must to serve distressed humanity’

Prime Minister’s Economic Advisor Dr Moshiur Rahman said united efforts of all are needed for building a society free from disparity and serving the distressed humanity.
“We bear the legacy of disparity, so opportunity should be created for production oriented education to get rid of such disparity,” he said this on Thursday while speaking at a discussion organized on founding anniversary of the Institute of Diploma Engineers Bangladesh (IDEB) at its auditorium here. IDEB president AKMA Hamid chaired the function, which was addressed, among others, by vice-chairman of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Hafiz Ahmed Mazumder and IDEB general secretary M Shamsur Rahman. As part of the government’s initiative, Dr Moshur said, priority has been given on technical education for building a prosperous society.
