Mosharraf’s Ovineta to screen in 3 int’l film fests

Mosharraf Karim acted and Rakesh Basu directed 40-minute short film titled Ovineta has been officially selected to screen in three international film festivals. These three
festivals are: India’s Pune Shorts International Film Festival 2021, Sindhudurg International Short
Film Festival 2021 and Sunfest International Short Film Festival. But Rakesh Basu informed that though schedules of these three film festivals yet not confirmed but this short film got confirmation to screen in three film festivals.
Earlier, Rakesh Basu directed web film Putul Kotha got nomination in categories at Charunirom Utsab in Bangladesh. For the first time, Ovineta is set to screen in international film festivals. Rakesh Basu is very much excited in this regard. He shared, “I am really delighted to get the confirmation to screen my short film in three international film festivals. I give thanks to all actors including Mosharraf Karim Bhai and Intekhab Dinar Bhai.”
Mosharraf Karim shared his feelings by this way over mobile phone from Kolkata yesterday, “It was my first work with Rakesh Basu. He is sincere and organised director. As a director, his understanding level is well. While working in this short film, I understood it would become a nice work. It is really a delightful matter for full unit of this short film.”
