A Dhaka court yesterday fixed November 8 to record the depositions of the witnesses in the case lodged on charge of killing Taslima Begum Renu in a mob beating in capital’s Badda area.
Judge of the Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal-7 of Dhaka passed the order fixing the date on Wednesday.
Earlier, the court framed charges against two children accused and they are Zafor and Wasim.
On April 1, Sixth Additional Metropolitan Sessions Judge of Dhaka, Fatema Imros Khonika framed charges against 13 adult accused. As of the 15 accused of the case, two are children, their trial is being held at the Juvenile Court.
Of the 15 accused, Mohiuddin was on the run. Later, he surrendered to the court and landed in the jail.
On September 10, last year, Investigation Officer, DB Police Inspector Abdul Haque submitted the charge-sheet of the case against 15 accused.
