Directors await Poppy’s return

For last few months there is no news of National Film Award winning actress Poppy. She has no communication with anybody. Even Poppy does not contact with anybody. In
the meantime, it was rumoured that the actress tied the knot and is becoming mother. But there is no proof
for this information. While contacting with her she did not respond. Though her Facebook account is active but there is no update. Her previous mobile number and WhatsApp are not active. Her colleagues hope she remains well now. At the end of day, though Poppy is an actress but she has personal life. If she remains well without any communication with others, she should stay by this way. If she thinks to return among all, everybody may welcome her return. Due to her absence, works of Poppy’s several numbers of movies remain stalled now. Poppy lastly completed full shooting of Sadeque Siddiqui’s movie Sahoshi Joddha, which later named after Direct Attack. Director Sadeque Siddiqui said, “It was really a challenge for me to work with Poppy in this movie. I made the movie after facing many challenges. Poppy completed her dubbing also.
I hope I will release the movie in November. During that time if Poppy with us, it will be good for us because in case of promotion of a movie,
heroine can play a pivotal role.
I hope Poppy stays safe and well.”
Casting Poppy Raju Alim started shooting of movie Projapoti. Amirul Islam Shova started shooting of movie Save The Life and Arif started shooting of Saratchandra Kathgorai. Meanwhile, many other movies were scheduled casting Poppy. Director Hasan Jahangir wanted to cast her in several numbers of dramas because in special days, he makes dramas casting Poppy. Basically Poppy got appreciation to play in women centric roles. She specially got huge appreciation
to act in movies Doriya Parer Doulati, Dakurani, Garments Konnya and Bostir Rani Suraiya. Poppy
wanted to play the role of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Poppy knew that while travelling by aero-plane Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina watched Poppy-starrer movie
Rani Kuthir Baki Itihash and she appreciated Poppy’s acting. The Prime Minister appreciated Poppy’s acting in front of ATM
Shamsuzzaman in a programme.
