Gold Tk.1.35 cr seized at Ctg Airport

Customs team at Chittagong Shah Amanat International Airport seized 26 gold bars measuring about 2.600 kgs from a Dubai- bound passenger on Wednesay evening.
The passenger identified as Abul Hashem hails from Hathazari upazila of North chittagong .
Airport sources said Abul Hashem came from Dubai in a Fly Dubai flight which reach ed Chittagong airport at about 6 pm and he was caught red handed alongwith gold bars pasted in his knees .
 The approximate cost of the gold bars is about Tk.1.35 cr, sources said. Airport immigration police detained the passenger alongwith the gold bars.
