SEU commemorates language hero Abdul Matin

The Department of Bengali of Southeast University (SEU) has recently organized a commemorative meeting on the legendary language activist late Abdul Matin at its Banani campus in the capital.
Actor and Writer Khairul Alam Sabuj was present at the meeting as key discussant, while the Chairman of Bengali Department Dr Rakibul Hasan was on the chair. Among others, Dean (Acting) of the School of Arts and Social Sciences Prof Dr Md Abdul Hakim, Prof of Rajshahi University Bengali Department Dr Shahid Iqbal, Poet and Writer D. Irine Zaman and Prof Shirajuddin Ahmed also discussed at the meeting. Pointing out the contribution of Late Abdul Matin for Bengali language, speakers said, those who don’t have any love for their country and language should not claim themselves as good citizens. They hoped, young generation would come up with their idea to complete the dream and ideology of Abdul Matin.
