Rainfall with squally wind likely

Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over the country within the next 24 hours ending tomorrow (April 10) at 9:00 am.
The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said this in a weather bulletin issued today (Friday, April 9).
According to the BMD weather forecast, rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions and the regions of Rangamati and Cumilla.
“Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country,” the Met Office added.
Besides, day and night temperature may fall slightly over the country during the period.
The BMD office said a trough of Westerly lows has lied over West Bengal and adjoining area, as a result, the seasonal low has lied over South Bay.
The country’s maximum temperature recorded 34.6°C yesterday at Rajshahi district while today’s minimum temperature recorded 19.1°C at Netrokona district of Mymensingh divisions. Besides, the country’s highest rainfall recorded 19mm at Rajarhat of Rangpur divisions.
Today’s sunset will be at 6:18 pm and tomorrow’s sunrise will be at 5:43 am.
