College student beaten to death in Barguna

BSS, Barguna :
A college student was beaten to death on Thursday night at Bamna Police Station area here.
The victim was identified as Jewel Jamaddar, 18, son of Mostofa Jamaddar of Uttar Gudighata Village under Bamna Police Station.
The incident took place around 8pm on Thursday when a group of people led by Ansar Jamaddar beat Jewel and his two friends Khokon and Rezaul as they went to Ansar’s house to collect a mobile phone of Jewel. Ansar forcibly took the mobile phone of Jewel while he was going to visit the riverside.
Jewel was rushed to Barisal Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where the on-duty physicians pronounced him dead.
