2 killed in separate incidents

BSS, Chittagong :
Two persons including a businessman were killed in separate incidents in the city on Friday night and Saturday.
The victims were identified as Abdur Rahman ‘Khokon’,35, a businessman of Bashundara residential area under Halishahar thana in the city and Baharuddin,24, a truck assistant of Mazirghat area under Doublemooring thana in the city.
Khokan was stabbed to death by three suspected rival businessmen at Bashundhara area under city’s Halishahar thana.
Syed Shahjahan Kabir, Officer-in-Charge of Halishahar thana said three suspects were detained from Bashundhara residential area in the city early Sunday. The knife used for killing and a bloodstained cloth were recovered from the residence of the suspected persons, he said.
The suspects were identified as Abul Boshor, Motaleb and Korban Ali who are all traders dealing in bricks and sand.
