Actor Abdul Kader in critical condition in Chennai’s hospital

Popular actor Abdul Kader has been admitted to a hospital in Tamil Nadu of India in a critical physical condition. Family sources confirmed the matter and saying he is now being treated at Christian Medical College Hospital (CMCH) of Vellore in Tamil Nadu.
The actor went to Chennai in India a few days ago for receiving treatment after a CT scan had revealed a tumour in his body. His physical condition is now at a critical stage as the situation is deteriorating gradually. Physicians of CMCH in Chennai have concluded on December 15 that cancer is spreading all over his body. He has been diagnosed with stage IV cancer and is currently in a critical condition with a low haemoglobin count.
The physicians have deemed the actor’s current health ‘extremely weak’ for chemotherapy and are waiting for him to regain strength. The family has reportedly decided to bring him back to Bangladesh once he recovers if he cannot be given chemo.
Abdul Kader played the role of Bodi in Humayun Ahmed’s popular drama serial Kothao Keu Nei. He is well-known for playing iconic comedy characters on television channels. He had a regular spot on Hanif Sanket’s Ityadi.
