Citi to expand microcredit disbursement

Citibank, N.A., Bangladesh and United Development Initiatives for Programmed Actions (UDDIPAN) signed a banking agreement, which will enable Citibank, N.A. to expand its microcredit disbursement channels in Bangladesh.
Rashed Maqsood, Managing Director and Citi Country Officer for Bangladesh and Md. Emranul Huq Chowdhury, Executive Director and CEO of UDDIPAN signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organizations at a programme in the city, according to a press release of the Citibank.
