Newborn’s body recovered from DU campus

The body of a newborn was recovered from behind the Dhaka University Central Library on Wednesday. After rescue the body, police sent the victim to Dhaka Medical College & Hospital with the collaboration of Dhaka University proctorial team. According to university’s proctorial team, the newborn’s dead body was found behind the Central Library on Wednesday afternoon. Getting information, police recovered the body and sent it to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital Morgue.
Proctor AKM Golam Rabbani told the media, “This is really very sad and inhumane. The newborn was a boy. We assume that someone left the body five or six days ago. The police, however, have been requested to take legal action in this regard.
