Bangladeshis to require return tickets to enter Dubai

The United Arab Emirate (UAE) issued the new guideline to visit Dubai for the citizens of India, Pakistan, Nepal and Afghanistan as per Covid-19 consciousness.
Sources said, airlines and travel agencies in the UAE have been asked to implement new guidelines for visit visa holders entering Dubai from the four countries.
As per the latest guidelines, visit and tourist visa holders from these four countries must hold round-trip tickets for entering Dubai International Airport and Al Maktoum International Airport.
The decision came after hundreds of passengers stranded at Dubai International Airport since Tuesday were flown back to their countries.
Gulf News said it in a report on Thursday.
As per the decision, travellers failing to comply with the new instructions will be sent back, on the expenses of the airlines concerned.
Travel agencies said they have also been instructed that these passengers should have a minimum of 2,000 Dirhams with them.
Earlier, hundreds of passengers from India and Pakistan, who were denied entry for non-compliance of regulations for visit or tourist visa holders, were flown back home while a few dozens were cleared of entry.
