Ankhi Alamgir lends voice for govt-grant movie

In Bangladesh’s cultural arena, Ankhi Alamgir is the only person who got the National Film Awards both in acting and music. Due to Corona, Ankhi was absent from stage shows and recording of songs. If she wanted she could perform in stage shows but to keep in mind her family and self security she didn’t do it. Now Corona situation is improving so, few days ago, she performed in a stage show in Gazipur. She also returned to recording of song. She has already lent her voice for Mostafizur Rahman Manik directed government-grant movie Ashirbad.
Sudip Kumar Dip wrote lyrics of the song while noted music composer and director Emon Saha composed music of the song from USA. In Bangladesh, Ankhi lent her voice for the song on October 4. Title of the song is: Tomake khujechhi…sabujer haat dhore.
After a long time to lend her voice for a government-grant movie Ankhi Alamgir said, “It is a romantic song. Sudip Kumar Dip wrote lyrics of the song satisfactorily while Emon Saha has composed its tune nicely. I have liked the song and rendered it by own way. I am optimistic about the play-back song. Imran was my co-singer in the song.”
Ankhi first lent her voice for play-back song in Ispahani Arif Jahan’s movie Bidrohi Bodhu where Sagor Jahan was her co-singer. She first lent her voice for government-grant movie Headmaster.
