SI Tutul tests positive for Coronavirus

The lead singer and lead guitarist of the Dhrubotara band, SI Tutul informed his fans in a Facebook post yesterday that he tested positive for coronavirus.
The popular play-back singer gave his samples three days ago after developing symptoms for the virus, and the result came positive. Tutul has asked his fans and followers to pray for him. He wrote on Facebook, “If the Almighty is testing me, I don’t know if I will survive this test, if I have the strength this time. If I have wronged or hurt anyone, I am asking for forgiveness with all my heart. All of you should take care of yourselves and stay safe.”
One of the founding members of LRB, Tutul dedicated a new song to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman as a tribute to his unparalleled legacy only a few days ago. The singer has worked in more than 500 films and TV dramas as a playback singer and music composer.
Hailed as Surer Karigar, SI Tutul won Bangladesh National Film Awards for Best Music Director, Best Music Composer and Best Male Playback Singer over the course of his career.
