Gonoshasthaya Kendra to collect plasma from Covid recovered people

Gonoshasthayakendra (GK) will start collecting plasma from covid recovered people from August 15 at its Dhanmondi center in Dhaka.
A statement was sent to the media in this regard.
It said, the date has been selected in honour of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s remembrance.
People, who recovered from corona infections, have been requested to donate plasma to the GK. The plasma so colleted will be used as therapy for other patients.
The Kendra will apply plasma to 25 patients everyday the cost whereof

will be at par with the Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Fifty patients will be applied plasma next month.
Dr. Zafrullah Chowdhury, the Trustee of the Kendra will remain present at the inauguration programme on August 15.
