Sharif clinches Golden Chess Club Int’l Rating Chess title

Sharif Hossain of Fire Service & Civil Defence clinched the title of Golden Chess Club International Rating Chess Tournament after the final round matches held at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall room on Friday.
Sharif secured 8 points to be crowned champion while FM Fahad Rahman of Gopalganj Chess Club finished runner-up bagging 7.5 points, Shafiq Ahmed of Golden Chess Club became 3rd also earning 7.5 points and Abdur Rauf became 4th bagging 7 points.
