Shift focus to
villages
The rate of corona infection is increasing. The wheel of the country’s economy has come to a standstill along with normal life. Failure to ensure timely planning and practical measures will lead to economic epidemics. The important lesson that the Covid-19 has taught is that we should go back to our villages post lockdown for our economy to prosper as our city-centric economic activities so far have landed us in this terrible mess and by focusing on our villages for economic development. We can avoid all pitfalls and degradation of the peoples’ lives. We must work towards the concept of villages as the engines of growth and by doing this we may in fact be able to increase the GDP.
