Human trafficker arrested, four youth rescued in Narayanganj

UNB, Narayanganj :
Police on Friday night arrested a human trafficker and rescued four people while they were being taken to Chittagong for sending them to Malaysia through illegal sea route. The five people were detained from Probhakaradi area in Araihazar upazila in Narayanganj.
The arrested were identified as Abdus Sattar, 45, son of Mofizuddin of Kodomirchar village of Araihazar upazila and the rescued victims were Jalil, son of Nuru Mia, Abdus Salam, 22, son of Jasimuddin, Nasir, son of Sahabuddin, and Masum, 21, son of Hajrat Ali. They hailed from Ramchandradi village of the upazila.
