Binkar Musical Society starts music audition

A music audition arranged by Binkar Musical Society of Bangladesh (BMSB) started to find out the potential singers in the country. Classical music gurus from Bangladesh and India jointly conducted the audition which was started on the premises of the National Press Club.
A press conference was also held in this regard on that day at Zahur Hossain Chowdhury Hall, National Press Club to commence the audition. Indian classical vocalist, voice trainer, mentor of Indian Idol Academy and groomer of ZEE Bangla ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ Kalyan Bhattacharjee was present there along with classical vocalist and voice trainer Pankaj Basu of Bangladesh.
The organizers said that classes will start from March 8 after finishing the auditions in Dhaka. On the other hand, auditions were also organised in Khulna. The auditions will run from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on March 4 at Rongdhonu Multimedia. Classes will start from March 11 in Khulna. Interested students will be able to participate in auditions by registering directly at the venue. Students who participate in the audition will be selected considering several aspects of music potentiality and they will be later trained on the music genre in different periods. During the journey period of the training, special consideration will be given on voice development and performing arts. Besides, technical training will be given which comprises– initiation to connect with the audience and usage of microphone.
