Two fuel tanks fall from BAF training plane in Narsingdi

Two tanks meant for carrying extra fuel fall off a Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) training plane in Narshingdi district on Monday morning.
Raypura Police Station’s Officer-in-charge (OC) Kazi Mizanur Rahman said that two objects resembling oil tanks have fell from an air force plane.
He added that they have spoken to air force officials and BAF said those were fuel tanks.
“The plane has reached Dhaka safely. The fuel tanks fell off, but everything else was all right. The reports of an emergency landing are not true,” an ISPR official said.
Air Force Wing Commander Enamul Haque said that the incident took place at 11:00am while the aircraft was flying over the Narshingdi district.
The plane had to make an emergency landing in the capital’s Tejgaon area, he said.
