Submission of probe report on Badda women murder Dec 24

Court Correspondent :
The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) Court of Dhaka yesterday (Monday) set December 24 to submit probe report in the case filed over killing of Taslima Begum Renu, 40, in mob beating in city’s North Badda area.
Magistrate Mohammad Jasim Uddin of the CMM Court of Dhaka passed the order as the Investigation Officer 10 failed to submit the report on Monday.
On July 20 in the morning, Taslima Begum Renu, mother of two, went to North Badda Government Primary School in connection with her daughter’s admission. She went to take information about admission of her daughter Tahsin Tuba.
On suspicion, some guardians took Renu in the room of the school head teacher for questioning. Angry locals, who gathered outside, later, snatched the woman away and lynched her. Police responded immediately, but the woman had died before they arrived.
Later, Renu’s nephew Nasir Uddin filed the case with Badda Police Station accusing 400-500 unidentified people.
