BCB appoints two coaches

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) appointed two coaches for Bangladesh National Cricket team on Saturday. South African Charl Langeveldt was appointed the pace bowling coach, while Daniel Vettori of New Zealand was named the spin bowling coach. The two coaches will act for Bangladesh National Cricket team up to ICC World Cup Twenty20
Cricket scheduled to be held in Australia in October-November 2020.
President of BCB Nazmul Hassan Papon announced on Saturday after a Board Meeting of BCB at it’s office in the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.
Langeveldt will act instead of Courtney Walsh of West Indies, while Vettori will work in the place of Sunil Joshi of India.
It may be mentioned that BCB suspended two bowling coaches including head coach Steve Rhodes after a dismal performance of Bangladesh Cricket team’s in the recently concluded ICC World Cup Cricket in England and Walsh.
The BCB did not cancel the job of batting coach Neil McKenzie.
Meanwhile, Khaled Mahmud Sujon went with Bangladesh National Cricket team in Sri Lanka as interim coach. Bangladesh team are taking part in a three-match ODI series against their counterpart Sri Lanka.
