Arpita in Nandita- Shiboprosad’s next film?
After a self-imposed hiatus for a few years, Arpita Chatterjee has returned to the silver screen with a bang! Her soon-to-be-released film Abyakto is already winning hearts and awards in a number of film festivals.
Soon, she will be seen as Mitin Mashi in a project directed by Parambrata Chatterjee.
According to industry sources, the versatile actress recently met director Shiboprosad Mukherjee to discuss over a script. She herself has confirmed the news but made it clear nothing has been finalized yet.
Interestingly, Arpita has walked out of Atanu Ghosh’s Bengali Talkies produced Sanjhbati, the film for which Shiboprosad has accused Atanu of plagiarism. Sanjhbati has an ensemble cast including Dev, Soumitra Chatterjee, Paoli Dam, Lily Chakraborty and Sohini Sengupta among others.
